Description:
Sometimes we are surprised to discover a subject that we have never had the opportunity to explore before. This is the case with glass pavers, which we had never encountered before. It was an opportunity for some rather enjoyable, highly technical research, with Chareau's house in mind. Beyond architecture, this series was also one of our first forays into the treatment of plants, using a more structured, intellectualized approach to image construction, seeking both realism and a very pictorial composition separated into different planes.
The architect:
Éric Lapierre's Experience agency stands out for its contemporary architecture that explores the relationships between space, time, and context. The Swiss agency Christ & Gantenbein favors modern and rigorous architecture, combining tradition and innovation.
