Digital House, Sarcelles
Contest - 2020
Description:
The building houses the “Digital House,” a place that combines training activities with incubation spaces for young companies. It takes the form of a cubic, glazed volume suspended within a wooded landscape. The interior spaces are organized around a cross-shaped plan with open, flexible floor plates at the corners. The design strategy is to rise as high as possible in order to create a viewpoint over the city. The building thus appears as an observation tower.
The architect:
Muoto is an architecture firm founded in Paris in 2003 by Gilles Delalex and Yves Moreau. The firm develops architectural, urban planning, and research projects characterized by a rigorous structural and programmatic approach, attentive to flexibility of use and the evolution of buildings over time.
